VioStor Player

The VioStor Player allows you to play the recording files on your Windows computer easily. You can play the video files or folders saved on the computer or search and play the recording files on the VioStor servers. To enable you to find the video quickly, the VioStor Player provides advanced features e.g. Quad-view playback, adjustable playing speed, showing the next frame/ previous frame, and reverse play.

You can do the following with the VioStor Player:

1. Connect to the Server for Playback
2. Play the Video Files on Client PC
3. Quad-view Playback
4. Different Display Language

Connect to the Server for Playback

You can connect to the VioStor server to search the video files by time and play the files. Make sure your computer and the server are connected to the same local network.

To play the video recorded in a specified time period by a server

1. Click "Play by Time".
2. The following dialog is displayed.
   
   1. Configure servers
      1. Add: Add a server.
      2. Edit: Modify a server.
      3. Remove: Remove a server.
      4. Auto: Auto-search servers.
      5. Default settings: Enter the default user name and password for all newly added servers.
   2. Select the camera, recording type, the start and end time when the video is recorded. Click "OK".
3. The playlist is shown. Click "Play" to start playing.
   Hint: The regular recording data are shown in white. The alarm recordings are highlighted in red on the playlist.

Play the Video Files on Client PC

1. Click "Add files".
2. Browse and select the files to play.
   
3. The playlist is shown. Click "Play" to start playing.

Quad-view Playback

The VioStor Player supports Express Quad View Playback for you to search the video quickly. The video file of one camera can be divided equally into four sections and played simultaneously in four windows. You can also select the play the video files of four different cameras at the same time.Click "Play by Time".

Different Display Language

You can right-click the taskbar button of the VioStor Player to select the display language.
